According to a recent Philanthropy Journal article, a majority of community foundations say they plan to increase funding for human service organizations in 2009.
The planned increased is partly a result of increased support from the donor-advised funds they administer, a new survey conducted by the Council on Foundations (www.cof.org) finds.
