Nonprofits sign manifesto demanding government support

The manifesto, entitled “Forward Together: Empowering America’s Citizen Sector for the Change We Need,” sought to give voice to the increasing barriers nonprofits face in providing services to clients during tough times such as banks reducing access to lines of credit and donations and the government taking longer to reimburse nonprofits for services provided under contract.
