Young adults volunteering at record numbers

According to an article in Sojourners magazine, young adults who grew up in the shadow of the 9/11 attacks and saw the wreckage of Hurricane Katrina are volunteering at home and abroad in record numbers.

Surveys show people born from 1982 to 2000 are the most civic-minded since the generation of the 1930s and 1940s. JVA Consulting encourages its clients to reach out to these young people with volunteer opportunities.
